A Certified Refurbished Product is one that’s been returned to Bose, for any reason. It’s then thoroughly inspected, tested, and serviced to meet strict Bose sound quality standards — the same as a new product. Appearance is closely examined; products occasionally have minor, nearly imperceptible blemishes. All refurbished products have the same warranty as new products. And are available only from Bose. Quantities are limited.
Overview
For a soundbar to come closer to creating a cinematic experience, it has to do more than just point sound in different directions. The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 with Dolby Atmos® goes well beyond that, adding a layer of realism that no other soundbar can duplicate. Exclusive Bose technologies elevate all content by separating instruments, dialogue and effects, placing them in discrete parts of a room—far left, far right, overhead—for immersion like you’ve never felt before.
For all its stunning looks, the technology inside this premium Dolby Atmos® soundbar is what’s truly astonishing. Nine speakers are precisely arranged in the cabinet—including two new upward-firing dipole transducers. This works in tandem with proprietary PhaseGuide technology to beam multi-directional sound to distinct areas in your room, giving you the feeling that what you hear is coming from places where there are no physical speakers.
What exactly is Dolby Atmos®? It’s a technology that allows artists and content creators to place each voice, instrument and sound in its own space, creating an unparalleled spatial experience with realistic overhead effects. You’re in the middle of it all, right in your living room, enjoying the peak of home entertainment.
With Alexa and Google Assistant, you can control all of your entertainment, manage your day and get information just by using your voice.
The noise-rejecting microphones work together to listen in every direction for your command, so it hears you even when your music is playing loudly. And with Alexa only, you can even make and take calls to Bose smart products, Amazon Echo products and anyone in your contacts list—hands-free, phone-free and free of charge.*
Exclusive Bose Voice4Video™ technology expands your Alexa voice capabilities like no other soundbar can. In addition to controlling the Smart Soundbar 900, you can turn on and control your TV, cable, or satellite box with just your voice. One simple ask to Alexa and you can jump to your favorite station, even if your TV was on a different input.
As you’d expect, you can wirelessly stream all of your favourite music services thanks to Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, Chromecast built-in, Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect compatibility. If it’s available on your mobile devices, you can hear it through the Bose Smart Soundbar 900. What’s more, since your smart soundbar can be grouped with any other Bose smart speakers over Wi-Fi, the Chromecast built-in feature can be shared across Bose products for a seamless audio experience throughout your home.

FAQs
How does the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 connect to my TV?
The simplest way to connect the Soundbar is via the supplied HDMI cable to your TV. If your TV has an HDMI-eARC connection, you should use that connection to get the benefit of Dolby Atmos-encoded content. If your TV does not have an HDMI connection, then you should connect the Soundbar to the TV using the optical cable (also supplied with the Soundbar).
Can source devices, such as a cable box, iPad, gaming system, etc., be connected directly to the Bose Smart Soundbar 900?
No. All sources must be connected to the TV and then a single connection (via the HDMI or optical cable) must be made from the TV to the soundbar.
Can I use my voice to control the other A/V equipment connected to my TV or search for content?
Yes. Bose Voice4Video™ technology and Alexa voice control* give you more control of our soundbars using just your voice. In addition to controlling your soundbar, you can control your TV and cable or satellite box. This lets you turn on your TV, switch to the correct input and jump to your favourite channel all with one simple Alexa voice command: “Alexa, watch channel 24.”
*Voice services may vary and may not be available in all languages and countries.
