Software and firmware updates improve product features and stability. Install any available updates to keep your product working at its best.
Updating the system and wireless transmitter
Updating your system
To check for and download system software updates, use your computer to visit the Bose updater website at: btu.Bose.com.NOTE: To update the system, you need to connect the system to your computer using a USB-C cable (not provided). Lightening cables will not work.
- Power on the system.
- Remove wireless transmitters from the system.
- Connect to a PC using a USB-C cable.
- Launch btu.Bose.com URL.
- Follow online instructions
The channel LEDs will flash green when the update is half-completed (60%) as the bar progresses up - Disconnect from the PC when told to from the site
- Insert the wireless transmitters one at a time and initiate an update via the rotary knob.
Updating the wireless transmitters
When you insert a wireless transmitter into either of the wireless transmitter charging ports, the system checks whether a software update is available. If it is, follow the instructions on the channel display to install the update.Get help if the update won't install.

Check the firmware version of your product.
