Updating the software or firmware of your product

Software and firmware updates improve product features and stability. Install any available updates to keep your product working at its best.

Update your product using the Bose Hear app.


If an update is available for your product, the app displays an update icon (downward arrow).

  1. Tap the update icon to download the update (Note: If app notifications are turned off, you won't be prompted for product updates.)

  2. Wait while the update downloads

  3. Once downloaded, tap UPDATE

    Once updated, your product will reboot
