Replacing the hearing aid cable
The cable provided with your product should fit comfortably in most cases. If it seems too long or too short, different size cables are available. Additionally, the cables should be replaced about once per year. Find out how to change the cable on your hearing aids.
Replace the hearing aid cables.
Replace the cables every year. If the cables appear damaged, don't fit or connect securely, or if you experience poor sound, replace the cables immediately.
- On the hearing aid body, firmly pull the tip at the end of the cable away from the body to unplug it
- On the new cable, align the red or blue marking on the end of the cable with the same-color red or blue marking on the hearing aid body
- Press the cable tip and the hearing aid body firmly together until you feel them click into place
- Repeat these steps for the other hearing aid.
