Using only one hearing aid

If you only need a single hearing aid, you can wear only one in your left or right ear.

Your hearing aids can be used as a pair or individually. Here are some things to know:

  • When first connecting your hearing aids to the Bose Hear app, both hearing aids must be connected as a pair
  • When using only one hearing aid, leave the battery door open on the other hearing to save battery power on that hearing aid. Or, if you don't plan to use one hearing aid, don't insert a battery in it
  • When you open the Bose Hear app, it will only detect the hearing aid with the battery installed
  • If your are using only the left hearing aid and then power on the right hearing aid later on, the left hearing aid will sync volume to the right. So, if app adjustments have been made, you might need to readjust some
