Using the cable sizing tool
The cable sizing tool included with your hearing aids helps you determine which size cable will fit your ear best.
Use the cable sizing tool to determine the right cable size.
With the cable sizing tool in place, you can ask a family member or friend to check the size. You can take a picture of your ear to check the size yourself.
- Hook the cable sizing tool over your ear so it lays flat against the side of your head
Tip: Use the blue size marked L for your left ear; use the red size marked R for your right ear
- Check which numbered color band (1, 2 or 3) aligns with the top of your ear canal. This is your cable size.
Tip: If you are between sizes but size 2 is uncomfortable, try the other size
- Repeat these steps for your other ear as you may need a different cable size for both ears.
- If you need size 1 or 3, contact Bose. Size 2 is included with your product.
