"Bad Disc" Error message displayed
This message appears if your system has difficulty reading the content of the inserted disc. To resolve this, try the following:
Be sure the disc is inserted with the label facing up.
Place the disc in your system with labelled side of the disc facing upward. If there is no label, try playing the other side of the disc.
Be sure your system supports the type of disc you are trying to play.
If the issue is with certain types of discs, check that your system supports that type of disc. For more info, see Disc compatibility charts.
Reset your media center.
A reset is used to correct occasional product issues. It is not something that a product should require repeatedly. For more information, see Resetting your product.
